SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 9, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred late Sunday night in downtown Salt Lake City.
Sgt. Steven Wooldridge, Salt Lake City Police Department, said police responded to 200 W. 200 North at about 11 p.m.
The male victim was transported to the hospital with a chest wound.
“He was conscious, but his condition was serious,” Wooldridge told Gephardt Daily. “He wasn’t able to tell us much, so we’ll still be asking questions.”
Police say they have a description of the suspect as a Hispanic male in his early 20s, about 6 feet tall, with dark, short hair. He was wearing dark pants, a dark shirt, and a gold necklace.
