PRICE, Utah, Dec. 18, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — A Price woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday evening, according to police.

Price Police Sgt. Kelly Maynes said the crash happened around 6:05 p.m. on 100 North at Carbon Avenue.

Maynes said Jan Johnson Loveland, 51, was driving a sedan eastbound when she left the roadway for an unknown reason. The vehicle went up onto the sidewalk, crossed back across the lanes and collided with a tree, which swung it around, making it narrowly miss a light pole.

No one else was injured, and the cause of the crash is under investigation.

We will have more on this developing story as it becomes available.
