Provo PD investigates bomb threats

PROVO, Utah, June 10, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) -- Provo police have sounded the all clear after investigating multiple bomb threats Tuesday morning.

According to Provo PD, an anonymous caller made the threats about 10 a.m., saying bombs were set to explode, and if they failed to detonate, the caller would open fire at the targeted locations.

A Provo Police news release said the threats were initially made in a call to the Utah County Building at 100 E. Center St. Threatening phone calls were also reported involving a Provo Public Library and an area credit union.

There are unconfirmed reports threats were also received in West Valley City and Midvale.
