PROVO, Utah, Nov. 11, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — The Provo Police Department is looking for information after a man was hit by a car early Friday morning and was left in critical condition.
A news release on Facebook from the police department said that officers responded at about 4:45 a.m. to the hit-and-run auto-pedestrian accident at the intersection of 300 S. University Ave.
A 53-year-old man was struck in the roadway by a vehicle that did not remain at the scene. Police have little information about the accident, and are asking for help from any member of the public who may have any information.
“We believe the accident occurred just prior to officers being called,” the PPD news release said. “The victim remains hospitalized and in critical condition.”
