PROVO, Utah, Oct. 2, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Provo police are searching for two men allegedly involved in a theft last month.

“The Provo Police Criminal Investigation Division is investigating a theft,” said a Facebook post from the department.

The surveillance photographs of the two men are captured in a gym, though officials did not say which one, on Sept. 9 at 5:16 p.m.

The men appear to be Caucasian; the first is wearing sunglasses, a red polo shirt, dark shorts and sneakers and white socks, and is carrying a black bag. The second man appears to be wearing sunglasses pushed back on his head, a black polo shirt, pants and shoes and is carrying a black backpack.

The post also provided a surveillance photograph of the suspect vehicle, which officials said is a silver hatchback, possibly a Pontiac Vibe, with discolored paint on the roof.

Officials did not say what the men are suspected of stealing.

Anyone who recognizes the men is asked to contact Detective Itin at [email protected]. “All persons are innocent until proven guilty,” the post said.
