Provo woman arrested for conspiring to kill her children’s father, police say

PROVO, Utah, Aug. 31, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Police have arrested a Provo woman for allegedly conspiring to kill the father of her children, officials said Thursday morning.

A Facebook post from the Provo Police Department said detectives received information that Cindy Riggins asked a friend to help her locate a killer for hire.

That friend alerted police, and detectives began an investigation.

Detectives developed probable cause to believe Riggins attempted to hire the man. She allegedly offered money and methamphetamine for payment.

Riggins was arrested and booked into the Utah County Jail for criminal conspiracy.
