Public invited to open house as construction about to begin on Mountain View Corridor

SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah, March 15, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The public is invited to attend an open house to learn more about construction on Mountain View Corridor.

The open house will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at Hunter High School, 4200 S. 5600 West, in West Valley City.

The contractor and Utah Department of Transportation project representatives will be on hand to answer questions.

According to a tweet from MountainViewCorridor, construction is set to begin in Salt Lake County from 4100 South to State Route 201.

“The construction of this segment will connect to the already open section of Mountain View Corridor at 4100 South in Salt Lake County,” the tweet says. “Construction includes two lanes in each direction with signalized intersections and biking and walking trails. The projected completion date for the project is summer 2021.”
