WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, March 6, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A two-car crash on southbound Redwood Road has snarled traffic Tuesday afternoon.

The crash occurred at 2700 South and Redwood Road just after 5 p.m., according to a tweet from the Utah Department of Transportation.

West Valley City Police Department spokeswoman Roxeanne Vainuku said one person involved in the crash was complaining of stomach pain and another of arm pain. Both were transported to an area hospital to be checked out.

Only one southbound lane is open. The crash is estimated to be cleared by 6:15 p.m., the tweet said.

There’s no word yet on the cause of the crash.
