PROVO, Utah, March 26, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Brigham Young University men’s basketball coach Dave Rose is calling it quits.
Rose confirmed the news in a 1 p.m. news conference Tuesday.
Rose, 61, has gone four season without NCAA Tournament, and is having the worst season of his 14-year BYU career. BYU officials announced the scheduled news conference on Tuesday morning.
Media outlets reporting the topic as Rose’s retirement included ESPN, CBS, Stadium, 247Sports, the Score, Yahoo and ScoresAndStats.com.
