Reward offered for information after derogatory, lurid graffiti sprayed in Layton

LAYTON, Utah, Sept. 13, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Layton police are offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of one or more suspects responsible for graffiti sprayed on vehicles and property Wednesday night.

“Graffiti included depictions of genitalia and derogatory/inflammatory language to include racial and homophobic slurs,” a Layton Police Department statement says.

The damage was done in the area of West Hill Field Road/West Gordon Avenue and Main Street, the statement says.

“Persons with information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspects involved in this incident will be given a $500 reward,” the police statement says. “Contact Layton PD at 801-497-8300.”
