CLEARFIELD, Utah, May 5, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A motorcyclist who collided with a minivan near Clearfield on northbound Interstate 15 Friday morning suffered severe head injuries.
The rider was not wearing a helmet, and all lanes of traffic were closed, temporarily, so a medical helicopter could land.
Damaged vehicles from the crash, near milepost 335 at 650 North, had been moved to the shoulder by 11:45 a.m., but traffic remained slow. Drivers were advised to take alternate routes until early afternoon if possible, UDOT said on its traffic website.
