WEST HAVEN, Utah, March 22, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Some 1,000 customers remain without power in West Haven Thursday evening, but that’s down from nearly 6,000 earlier in the afternoon, officials said.
In West Haven, some 1,136 customers are without power, but that’s down from 5,700 customers earlier Thursday afternoon, according to the Rocky Mountain Power website. The zip codes being affected are 84401 and 84404.
The issue was reported at 3:50 p.m. and it’s estimated power will be restored by midnight.
The outage is due to a utility pole fire, the website said.
Some 4,224 customers have had their power restored in West Jordan, according to Rocky Mountain Power’s website. The zip codes that were affected were 84044, 84118, 84084, 84074, 84088, and 84081.
The outage was reported at 5:30 p.m. and power was restored by 9 p.m.
There are a handful of other power outages across northern Utah Thursday evening, each affecting less than 100 customers.
