LOGAN, Utah, Sept. 30, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — An elderly woman died Saturday morning after a two-vehicle rollover crash in Logan.

Officials with the Logan City Police Department said the incident occurred in the area of 700 S. 100 East at approximately 11:45 a.m.

Police said the driver of a pickup truck was at the intersection of 700 South and 100 East, going eastbound. She stopped at a stop sign, then pulled into the intersection, and clipped the back of a southbound SUV. The SUV did not need to stop at the intersection as it was a two-way stop intersection, officials added.

The SUV then rolled multiple times. The elderly woman, who was a passenger in the SUV, was ejected and died at the scene. At this time it appears the woman was not wearing a seat belt.

There were also two men in the SUV, who were transported to an area hospital; their conditions are not known at this time.

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured, officials said.

The deceased woman has not been identified pending notification of family members.

Gephardt Daily will have more on this developing story as information is made available.
