SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 24, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man officers say robbed the Key Bank at 410 E. 400 South on Monday afternoon.

Salt Lake City Police Lt. Justin Hudson said the robbery took place at 3:52 p.m. after a man entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding cash.

No weapon was displayed and none was seen, Hudson said. The man was in the bank just long enough to hand off the note, which he left there, and leave with an unknown amount of cash.

Hudson said the man walked southbound on 400 East, and it is unknown whether he had a vehicle, as none was seen.

The suspect is described as a tall, thin adult male. He was wearing a dark green T-shirt, a dark jacket with a white logo, blue jeans and a plain red baseball cap with black brim.

Anyone who recognizes the man in the surveillance photo or who has any information about the robbery is asked to call Salt Lake City Police, 801-799-3000, and reference case 16-199591.
