Salt Lake City restaurant damaged by fire

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Nov. 3, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City Fire Department crews responded to a report of a structure fire Sunday night at 702 S. 300 East.

According to SLCFire on Twitter, the fire at Koko Kitchen, a Japanese sushi restaurant, was quickly brought under control and no one was injured.

The restaurant did sustain “substantial damage” from the fire, a spokesman for SLCFD told Gephardt Daily.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
