SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 12, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City firefighters battled a blaze in a fifth-wheel camper trailer Wednesday.
The fire in the area of 920 W. Gold Place broke out around 10:30 a.m., the Salt Lake Fire Department tweeted.
Officials said the trailer was fully engulfed when crews arrived, but they were able to knock it down and keep it from spreading.
“Fire is under control and crews will remain on scene for a while longer to complete overhaul,” SLCFD tweeted.
The camper is a complete loss, officials said, and the occupant will be displaced as a result of the fire.
