Salt Lake Police ask for public’s help identifying bank robbery suspect

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Feb. 2, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — The Salt Lake City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect from a bank robbery last week.

The robbery occurred at about 4:40 p.m. Jan. 23 at the KeyBank located at 1500 S. Foothill Blvd.

The suspect is described as being approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 pounds, and wearing dark colored clothing including a gray beanie and a dark bandana or scarf around his face, and sunglasses.

The SLCPD asks anyone who may have more information about this suspect to call 801-799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by text to 274637. Please start texts with TIPSLCPD, which routes it to the police department. Then reference case number 17-14317.
