Salt Lake Police ask for public’s help locating suspect after Maverik robbery

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 5, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — The Salt Lake City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man that robbed a Maverik convenience store last month.

The robbery took place at the store at 710 E. 2700 South on Feb. 10, the SLCPD said in a news release. 

The suspect went into the Maverik and demanded money from the clerk, police said, then exited the store and fled in an unknown direction. 

The man is described as Caucasian, most likely in his 30s or 40s, wearing a gray and black hoodie, dark blue pants and tan shoes. 

The Police Department asks anyone who may know the identity and/or location of this suspect to call 801-799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by text to 274637.
