SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 13, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A man walked into a Tesoro gas station Monday night, and ran out with cash and a customer’s purse.

Salt Lake City Police Lt. Craig Gleason told Gephardt Daily that shortly before 9:50 p.m., a masked man entered the store, in the area of 75 South and 900 East, and produced a gun. In addition to taking an undisclosed amount of cash, he made off with the purse of a frightened customer.

The suspect was described as a white male, about 40 to 45 years old, wearing dark clothing and a mask. However, Gleason said detectives are reviewing surveillance video and expect to have a better idea of the suspect’s physical appearance.

No one was injured in the incident. The case is still under investigation.
