Salt Lake police investigate Thursday night robbery

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, April 1, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are investigating an aggravated robbery on Thursday night.

The robbery took place at 8:11 p.m. Thursday, according to a news release from Salt Lake City Police Department.

Police say the victim approached a woman at 200 S. 500 West to buy drugs or cigarettes.

The victim reported that he gave the woman money, who then gave it to one of her two male companions. When the victim pressed for his change back a fight ensued between the two men and the victim.

The victim was stabbed multiple times in the back. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects are described as a black woman and two black men.
