Salt Lake Police Looking for Man Who Robbed Wells Fargo Friday Afternoon
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – June 29, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – The Salt Lake City Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify man who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank in Salt Lake on Friday afternoon.
According to police, a man entered the Wells Fargo bank branch at 1710 S. Redwood Road, around 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2015 and brandished a weapon and demanded money.
The teller complied and the suspect fled south on foot along the west side of Redwood Road.
Detectives also believe he was going to rob the Bank of Utah at 2309 S. Redwood Road just minutes before he entered the Wells Fargo. They have obtained additional video footage of the suspect at the Bank of Utah but it appears based on the suspect’s actions, that it was a failed attempt at robbing that bank.
