Salt Lake police searching for suspects after Maverik robbery

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 11, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake police officials are searching for three suspects after a Maverik was robbed in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The incident happened at the gas station at 1680 S. Redwood Road at 4:50 a.m., the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.

“Three men entered a store and demanded cash from the clerk,” the news release said. “The suspects intimated that they had a gun. The suspects left with money and merchandise and entered a vehicle across the street.”

The suspects were all Polynesian. The first was wearing a long sleeve black shirt with white stripes, jeans and tan boots. The second suspect was wearing a black sweatshirt with an Oakland Raiders logo, a white shirt under the sweatshirt, white tennis shoes and an earring in his left ear. The third suspect was wearing a Raiders #21 Jersey over a black hoodie, black pants, white shoes, a black beanie and an earring in his left ear.
