SANDY, Utah, March 11, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — Sandy fire crews assisted a deer that became stuck in a retention pond Tuesday.
“The crew on 31A had a successful animal rescue,” said a Facebook post from Sandy City Fire Department. “The deer was unable to escape out of this retention pond on it’s own due to the slippery slope. The deer gained it’s strength and was able to run away.”
Sandy fire also shared two videos of the rescue operation.
