EMERY COUNTY, Utah, May 31, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — The Emery County Sheriffâs Office has confirmed that a 28-year-old Sandy man was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident Sunday night.
Jeramy Stephan appears to have died at the scene from head trauma.
Deputies said the accident happened at approximately 9 p.m. just north of Joeâs Valley Reservoir, near the Reeder Subdivision road, 16 miles west of Orangeville.
Investigators believe Stephan misjudged a curve in the road and was thrown from the bike before it returned to the roadway.
Stephan was not wearing a helmet.
