WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Jan. 9, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A Granite School District bus was involved in a crash in West Valley City on Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred in the area of 3200 W. 4700 South, officials said.

Granite School District officials said the bus was carrying three elementary school-age children, and the driver, when the accident occurred.

West Valley City Police Department spokeswoman Roxeanne Vainuku confirmed to Gephardt Daily there were no injuries as a result of the crash.

The Granite School District tweeted a picture of the incident, shown below.

“What is this vehicle doing on the complete opposite side of the road you ask?” the tweet said. “Buses are big, yellow, with a lot of lights and reflective striping for a reason. Slow down and pay attention. Our body shop doesn’t need the work.”
