Dec. 12 (UPI) — The Sundance Film Festival has announced its full lineup for the 2025 festival. The Sundance Film Festival takes place Jan. 23 to Feb. 2 in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah and online Jan. 30 to Feb. 2.
Documentaries on musicians Selena Quintanilla, Jeff Buckley and Sly & the Family Stone are among the films screening. Additional documentaries cover Marlee Matlin, Pee-wee Herman, TikTok, anti-trans legislation, book banning and the TV show To Catch a Predator.
Director Justin Lin brings Last Days, his first film since leaving the production of Fast X. Director Bill Condon’s Kiss of the Spider Woman adaptation and Andrew Ahn’s remake of The Wedding Banquet also premiere at Sundance.
Husband and wife Alison Brie and Dave Franco co-star in writer/director Michael Shanks’ Together. Franco also stars in Evan Twohy’s Bubble & Squeak with Steven Yeun and Matt Berry.
Dylan O’Brien, James Sweeney and Lauren Graham star in Sweeney’s Twinless. Andre Holland, Nicole Beharie and Bel-Air‘s Cassandra Freeman star in Rachael Abigail Holder’s Love, Brooklyn.
Abbott Elementary‘s Sheryl Lee Ralph stars with Stephan James and Titus Welliver in Rashad Frett’s Ricky. Rose Byrne, A$AP Rocky and Conan O’Brien star in Mary Bronstein’s If I Had Legs, I’d Kick You.
Ayo Edebiri, John Malkovich, Juliette Lewis, Murray Bartlett and Amber Midthunder star in the Midnight movie Opus from writer/director Mark Anthony Green. Dev Patel, Rosy McEwen and Jade Croot star in Bryn Chainey’s Midnighter Rabbit Trap.
