UTAH COUNTY, Utah, Oct. 7, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews are on the scene of a vehicle rollover on U.S. Highway 6 at milepost 193 late Monday afternoon.

Eastbound US-6 is closed at milepost 193, two miles west of Sheep Creek, and drivers are advised to use an alternative route, a Utah Department of Transportation tweet says.

Scanner chatter also indicated that another vehicle had rolled, also on US-6. That semi apparently rolled down an embankment and was hit by a train and caught on fire.

UDOT later posted that westbound traffic on US-6 is closed at milepost 195.

The canyon has been closed due to these incidents.

Gephardt Daily will update this developing story as more information becomes available.
