SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Jan. 17, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Authorities are investigating after a semi-truck and a train collided in Salt Lake City Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred near 1950 W. 500 South at approximately 5:30 a.m.
There were no injuries reported.
Salt Lake City Police Department officials said the driver of the truck was trying to make it through the crossing arms and didn’t see the train before the crash occurred.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
