SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 8, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — A man has been pinned in his vehicle after hitting the back of a semi on I-80 Tuesday night.
According to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce, dispatchers received a call just after 9 p.m. of an accident involving a semi on I-80 near 700 East.
“I have never seen a vehicle this demolished and the driver actually surviving,” Royce said. “They are currently attempting to extricate him and get him to a hospital.”
Details of the accident are still unknown. An update will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.
