CACHE COUNTY, Utah, May 15, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — The Cache County Sheriff’s Office has put out an alert to its local “crime fighters.”
Not by “bat signal” or by a special dedicated line with a red rotary phone, vintage super hero fans, but by Facebook.
“Attention all Cache Valley crime fighters!
“This trailer stolen from a construction site in the area of 800 W. 1800 North in Logan. Please help us keep an eye out for it and contact dispatch at 435-753-7555 if you see it. You can also contact Detective Mike Wursten at 435-716-9485 if you have any information which could help solve this theft.”
The message also speaks to area builders:
“ALSO! There has been an ongoing rash of break-ins and thefts from construction sites throughout the area. We highly recommend tools and equipment be secured, monitored with surveillance, and when possible removed from the construction site at night.”
