MOAB, Utah, April 6, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A Moab man was jailed Thursday after Grand County sheriff’s officials say he arranged to meet for sexual purposes with someone he believed to be a child.
Rahjai Suckoo, 30, made contact with someone he believed to be a 13-year-old girl and asked to see a picture of her, his probable cause statement says.
The conversation then got sexual, and Suckoo began talking about intercourse, and sent pornographic photos and videos of himself, his affidavit says.
Suckoo invited the child to visit him over several days and to engage in varied sexual activities. On Thursday, he was arrested when he arrived at the prearranged location.
He is being investigation on suspicion of:
- Rape of a child, a second-degree felony
- Enticing a minor, a second-degree felony
- 11 counts of dealing in materials harmful to a minor
Suckoo was ordered held without bail in the Grand County jail.
