Shots fired in West Valley City, 18-year-old wounded

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Oct. 8, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — West Valley City police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Tuesday afternoon.

WVCPD tweeted that they received a call reporting shots fired at about 5:20 p.m. in the area of 4300 W. Cortney Place.

“The report indicated that someone fired shots from a vehicle at two people on the street,” the tweet said. “An 18yo male received a superficial wound to the arm.”

Police said they have very little suspect information.

  1. There were 8 shots and they should know a suspect by now because the house that it happened by had cameras my family lives close to there
