Silver Alert issued for missing 76-year-old St. George man

ST. GEORGE, Utah, May 28, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — Authorities have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 76-year-old man from St. George.

Mark Stephen Russum was last seen at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at 1905 W. 1600 N. in St. George, according to the St. George Police Department.

His destination is unknown.

Russum is described as a white male, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds. He has white hair, but is bald, with brown eyes, and a full white beard. Russum has faded tattoos on his chest, shoulders, and back. His clothing at the time he was last seen is unknown.

Authorities said Russum has a history of high blood pressure and takes medication for the condition. He also requires oxygen while sleeping.

Russum is believed to be on foot and has been known to give the name Mark Russell.
