TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, Dec. 12, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — A multi-vehicle accident on Monday night forced the closure of southbound Bangerter Highway.
According to Unified Police Lt. Lex Bell, the road was closed at 4700 South after a northbound vehicle crashed through the barriers and into oncoming southbound traffic, causing a chain reaction accident involving two other vehicles.
The female driver who went through the barrier was taken by ambulance to an area hospital in serious condition. A female driver who was hit head-on was transported by ambulance to be treated for a possible broken leg and other minor injuries.
Lt. Bell advised others to avoid the area.
