SLC police seeking suspect after credit union robbery

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Sept. 24, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake Police officials are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a credit union Friday morning.

The incident occurred at the Security Services Federal Credit Union at 2072 S. 2200 East at approximately 10:55 a.m., the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.

“The suspect entered the credit union and stated it was a robbery and demanded money,” the news release said. “The suspect threatened the bank teller as she was getting the cash.”

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, approximately 60 years old, 6 feet tall, heavy set, with light brown neck-length hair, wearing dark glasses, an army green long-sleeve shirt, jeans and blue and black tennis shoes.
