SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Nov. 29, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Drivers in downtown Salt Lake City are being advised to avoid the area of 300 South and 600 East Tuesday morning as crews take care of the aftermath of a residential fire.

A primary all-clear was called in all four apartments by 10 a.m., and a secondary all clear just a few minutes after that.

There were no injuries during the incident.

The extent of the damage has not yet been determined.

SLC Fire updated at 1 p.m. that the fire was investigated and found to have originated in the basement with an undetermined cause. Four people were displaced by the fire.
