SLCPD Assistant Chief pulls man from burning vehicle on I-15

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Nov. 5, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City Police Department’s Assistant Chief pulled a man from a burning vehicle Tuesday, apparently saving his life, officials said.

“Our quick-thinking and always-prepared Asst. Chief Tim Doubt saved the life of a motorist after a wreck on I-15,” said a tweet from the SLCPD. “He stopped traffic, pulled a man from a burning vehicle.”

The tweet said that Doubt saved the man’s life.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
