SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Aug. 2, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — The Salt Lake City Police Department has posted its version of the lip sync challenge.
The SLCPD lip syncs along to Miley Cyrus’ hit song “Wrecking Ball,” paying homage to their love for donuts by featuring local favorite Banbury Cross, at 705 S. 700 East.
Police departments from around the country have been challenging one another to lip sync battles this summer. Some of their videos have gone viral, such as the one showing the Norfolk (Virginia) Police Department’s rendition of Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk.” As of Thursday afternoon, the video, shown below, had 981,000 views.
Other police departments began posting in June, challenging one another to see who had the best routine.
