SLCPD seeking suspects after juvenile allegedly robbed at gunpoint

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Feb. 28, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for two suspects after a juvenile was allegedly robbed at gunpoint in a Salt Lake City parking lot.

The incident occurred in the area of 1450 S. West Temple St. at about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.

“The suspects pointed a handgun at the victim, taking his phone and backpack and then fled on foot,” the news release said. “The two suspects are described as two black male juveniles in their late teens, both with tall and slender builds, wearing all dark clothing.”

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, officials said.
