SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – November 30, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) A Utah Highway Patrol trooper’s vehicle was hit while he assisting with a rollover Saturday morning.

According to UHP, Trooper Andy Battenfield responded to a single-vehicle rollover at 800 North I-15 at about 7:30 a.m on Saturday. The driver of the vehicle was placed in the back of the trooper’s patrol car as he continued to investigate the crash.

Another vehicle traveling southbound lost control and crashed into the rear of Trooper Battenfield’s vehicle while the driver of the rollover was in the back seat.

A few seconds later, in the same spot, another vehicle lost control and crashed into a fire truck.

No one was injured in either accident.
