SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Feb. 24, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The National Weather Service is cautioning that potentially hazardous weather is forecast this week for the western two-thirds of Utah and southwest Wyoming.

Accumulating snow will likely develop near the Idaho border Sunday night, the NWS reported on its website.

Light snow accumulations are possible for northern Utah throughout the week, with the most serious accumulations expected north of Ogden.

A main concern is that roads may be especially slick with slushy snow through Monday morning, so drivers are advised to exercise caution.
