WEST BOUNTIFUL, UTAH – September 30, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Crews battled a fire caused by kitchen grease at a residence in West Bountiful Wednesday, authorities said.
According to a post on South Davis Metro Fire Agency Facebook, the fire at 725 West 1691 North started around 10 a.m.
A man and his wife were home at the time the fire started and the woman was treated for minor burns and smoke inhalation; her husband was not inured.
Fire officials have estimated the damage at $25,000.
Access to 725 West is closed as they continue to work on the home and keep the fire under containment.
