St. George PD arrests man for 2 alleged counts of attempted murder

ST. GEORGE, Utah, Jan. 4, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — Police in St. George have arrested a man for investigation of attempted murder after finding two people stabbed Friday night.

St. George Police officials were called to the area of 2000 W. 1400 North at 10:40 p.m., a department news release says.

“Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims with non-life-threatening injuries consistent with a stabbing.

“The suspect, Elian De Jesus Arias Sierra has been arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder, aggravated assault, weapon possession, drug charges, and intoxication.”

The department asked that anyone with information regarding the incident contact police at 435-627-4300 referencing incident #2P000256.

“No matter how small, any information you have could benefit the investigation.”
