ST. GEORGE, UTAH – June 2, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – The St. George Police Department is requesting assistance with the identification of a suspect in an ongoing fraud and forgery investigation. This unidentified male has been frequenting Western Union and Money Gram locations in Southern Utah over the past few months. He has been receiving multiple wire transfers in cash using multiple different names. Many of the names belong to victims of identity fraud from all over the United States, particularly in Texas. The address he uses is consistently out of Indianapolis, Indiana, however, investigators believe he may be living in Southern Utah. Investigators suspect he is obtaining the information from stolen or skimmed credit cards, wiring money to himself under the victim’s names, and picking up the wire transfers locally.
