St. George police seek public’s help identifying armed robbery suspect

ST. GEORGE, Utah, Sept. 28, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are looking for the suspect in the armed robbery of a business in St. George on Saturday afternoon.

Officers were dispatched at about 1:30 p.m. to a report of an armed robbery in which the suspect entered the store posing as a law enforcement agent, a news release from St. George Police Department says.

He produced a handgun and threatened the store employees.

The suspect is described as a black man who was wearing a fake beard. He has a skin condition on his chin and lower face that causes his skin to be lighter in those areas, the new release says.

He was last seen in a gray passenger car.
