Stansbury Fire Burns Nearly 40 Acres
STANSBURY PARK – June 29, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) Fire Crews and Bureau of Land Management continue to battle a blaze in Stansbury Park that has been burning for nearly 14 hours.
According to UtahFireInfo.gov, the blaze started Sunday night and has already burned 38 acres. They are expecting to have the fire contained shortly after 3 p.m.
The fire is on the west side of Stansbury Island in Tooele County.
Currently the cause of the fire is under investigation.
