Study: Utah is ‘happiest state’

Utah ranks first in a study released on WalletHub.com

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Sept. 15, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Utah is the happiest state in America, according to a new study released by WalletHub.com, a financial website.

The study, published this week, used a variety of statistics to rank the 50 states and the District of Columbia by:

• Emotional and physical well being

• Work environment, and

• Community and environment

Utah ranked fourth, first and second in the aforementioned categories.

Coming in last was West Virginia, ranking 51st in emotional and physical well being, 48th in work environment, and 28th in community and environment.
