Suspect In Custody After Stabbing In St. George

ST. GEORGE, UTAH – October 28, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Police in St. George have arrested a man in connection to a stabbing Tuesday night.

According to St. George police, officers were dispatched just before 10 p.m. to a residence on reports of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found a 59-year-old man bleeding heavily from a stab wound to his abdomen.

The victim, who was still awake and breathing, was transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center where he underwent emergency surgery. He is currently listed in stable condition.

Officers later arrested Christopher Boulware, 45, of Mount Holly, North Carolina and he was booked into the Washington County Jail on charges of aggravated assault with a weapon.

Police said this was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public, however, they are asking for any witnesses, or anyone with information about the incident to call St. George Police Department at 435-627-4300.
