UPDATE: Suspects Identified in Utah First Credit Union Robbery

MIDVALE, UTAH – July 13, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – The Unified Police Department (UPD) has identified the suspects involved in a bank robbery at the Utah First Credit Union, 6935 S. 900 East, yesterday.

The first suspect, who is pictured, is Brok Arlin Rice, 32, and the second suspect is Jason Naisbitt, 41. They were driving a black Chevy truck with the licence plate #F423Y.

Police said the first suspect entered the credit union, approached the teller and demanded money. The teller complied with the suspect’s demands. After the suspect got an undisclosed amount of money he fled from the bank and got into a Budget Rental “box” truck.

He did not display or threaten any weapons. No-one was injured during the robbery.

A witness saw the suspect get into the truck. They followed them to the area of 6100 S. 25 West. The suspect and another male were seen going into a house nearby.

A containment was setup around the neighborhood and officers cleared the home the suspect was seen going into.

Before the officers were able to secure the home, the suspect had left. Officers searched the area extensively, but were unable to locate the suspect.
