MILLCREEK, Utah, Dec. 17, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Unified Police officials are looking for the man who robbed a Subway restaurant at 4725 S. Highland Drive on Saturday night.

UPD Lt. Paul Barker said the robbery occurred at about 9 p.m, when a man wearing a white mask and a blue beanie entered the restaurant and told employees he had a weapon.

Barker said no weapon was seen.

The man’s face was covered, with the beanie pulled down, so only his eyes were showing. Barker said investigators will be checking the store’s surveillance video in hopes of getting a better look at the man.

The suspect fled on foot, and officers followed his tracks in the snow as far as they could.

This robbery is similar to one that took place at Domino’s Pizza, 4756 S. Highland Drive, on Dec. 12. Domino’s is across the street from Subway.

In that incident, police said, a suspect entered the store and threatened the employee, saying he had a gun.

The suspect received a small amount of cash and fled westbound on foot.

The suspect in the Domino’s robbery is described as a light-skinned black man, approximately 200 pounds, wearing yellow gloves and a dark gray beanie.

Anyone with information about either robbery is asked to call the Unified Police Department on 801-743-7000.
